incentaHEALTH Program Offered in Spanish for the First Time

DENVER, April 4, 2016 – Denver digital wellness company, incentaHEALTH, has partnered with Southern California supermarket chain, Northgate González Markets, providing an incentivized, bilingual wellness program to the corporation’s 6,000 employees, spouses and dependents 16 and older.

The incentivized weight loss program, named Lose to Win, compliments Northgate’s efforts to promote healthy eating and active living throughout the Latino community. The program provides personalized health coaching via email and text message and unlimited access to Lose to Win’s health coaches, over the phone or email. Each participant receives a daily fitness and nutrition plan and a weekly grocery list, cash incentives for weight improvement for those with a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or greater and other prizes for participation. Participant progress is tracked through quarterly weigh-ins at Lose to Win kiosks, strategically rotated between the 40 Northgate locations. The kiosk measures weight, BMI and takes a full-length photograph – providing a visual progress report of participant’s weight improvement. For the first time, coaching is also available in Spanish by utilizing the text-to-enroll option.
