Looking to recognize the noteworthy work of our leading community health partners, we asked our partnering organizations to submit an application on why they should be Weigh and Win’s 2017 “Outstanding Partner in Health”. Finalists were selected, each received a promotional video (filmed and produced by the Weigh and Win staff) highlighting their success with the program and the winner was chosen at the conference.

Congratulations to Fremont Regional Health & Wellness! Recognized as Weigh and Win’s 2017 “Outstanding Partner in Health.”

“We are proud to award Fremont Regional Health & Wellness as our first-ever Outstanding Partner in Health,” says Lia Schoepke, Weigh and Win program manager. “Their continued dedication and devotion to implementing the program for county employees and community members has helped changed their surrounding health dynamic and distinguished them as a leader in community health.”

Through Weigh and Win, incentaHEALTH has reached over 90,000 Coloradans, with an average weight loss of 8 percent after one year in the program. The average participant is a 43 year old female with a starting BMI of 33 and 50 pounds overweight. Over 309,000 pounds have been lost and $550,000 distributed in cash rewards.

As a leader in measurable wellness programs, incentaHEALTH’s system is designed to help organizations and communities reduce health care costs. For the first time, the digital wellness company is branching into the consumer market with the new incentaHEALTH Smart Scale + Visual Body Analyzer. The wireless scale measures body weight and fat, syncs to the incentaHEALTH app (displaying your visual progress through weigh-in photos) and rewards those with a BMI of 25 or above with cash incentives. Additional health coaching is also available. For more information on the incentaHEALTH Smart Scale + Visual Body Analyzer visit here.

The incentaHEALTH community initiative (ex: Weigh and Win) has been deployed in both Colorado and Minnesota, with the help of our population health partners: Kaiser Permanente and the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation.
