The average participant is a 43 year old female with a starting BMI of 33 and 50 pounds overweight. Over 258,000 pounds have been lost and $400,000 distributed in cash rewards. As a leader in measurable wellness programs, incentaHEALTH’s system is designed to help organizations and communities reduce health care costs. For the first time, the digital wellness company is branching into the consumer market with the new HEALTHspot @ Home Scale and compatible app, debuted at Wednesday’s summit. The wireless scale will measure body weight and fat, syncs to the incentaHEALTH app (displaying your visual progress through weigh-in photos) and rewards those with a BMI of 25 or above with cash incentives. Additional health coaching is also available.
