The New York Times ran in interesting infographic showing different ways to make dinner for a family of four.  In the peice, they compare a meal from McDonald’s and two made at home using common ingredients.  It’s interesting to see that there are ways to build a healthy meal without breaking the bank.

Of course this isn’t an apples to apples (pardon the pun) comparison since it doesn’t factor in time to prepare the meal, and access to the stores to buy the ingredients.  But it does bring a fresh perspective to the topic of healthy eating.
